Oil Spill Containment, Recovery & Evacuation
One of the pollutants that are most prevalent in the sea is oil. An oil spill is the release of liquid hydrocarbon into the environment, especially on the sea and coastal areas, due to failure of the oil transmission medium, such as pipes, or human activity. Aside from the economic impact of the oil spill, which includes waste of oil, cost of recovery and clean up, the environmental impact of oil spill includes disruption of wildlife and aquatic habitat, soil, air, and water pollution, etc.
